Hottinger Baldwin Messtechnik (HBM)

CONNECTIVITY PORTFOLIO | Connect HBM

What is Hottinger Baldwin Messtechnik (HBM)?

The Hottinger Baldwin Messtechnik (HBM) company provides hardware and software solutions for configuring and reading out sensors of various types.

Sensors are connected to controller boxes of varying capability with respect to number and type of the latter. The controller boxes themselves are typically connected to LAN via Ethernet for configuration and data acquisition (DAQ).

Connect Hottinger Baldwin Messtechnik (HBM) with Cybus

The Cybus Connectware HbmDaq protocol reads the HBM specific DAQ protocol and maps it into the industry standard protocol MQTT. High frequent measurement data can be grouped into a smaller number of MQTT messages. Data from HBM measurement amplifiers can then be made available via MQTT or OPC UA Server and transferred into databases, IoT Platforms or other IT Systems.
