Connectware acts as a client for the SINUMERIK “Access MyMachine / OPC UA” machine interface. Compatibility has been verified for the following controller types, others can be evaluated on request:

The communication is RPC based which means that certain methods are called on the control to perform certain actions. Supported actions include reading, writing and polling data as well as subscribing to notifications. It is possible to exchange files like NC-programs or monitor the machine state and process parameters.
