About Cybus
Since 2015 Cybus’ Team has been steadily growing to over 40 people with the unifying mission to push innovation in the manufacturing industry by applying the proven principles of internet technologies. What we do
Facing the reality of high quantity production and of climate change, we face the challenge of using less resources and energy and producing less waste in the manufacturing industry. The opportunity to apply those principles is more achievable with the Cybus Connectware. It enables efficient and smart production processes in factories by connecting all the machines on a factory’s shop floor, consolidating the diverse data sets and providing the data for eg. visualizing or analyzing purposes. This way Operational Technology (OT) and IT of a shop floor are connected and empower factories to function smarter and resource consciously.
About the role
Position and tasks
As an Accountant (all genders) at Cybus, you will handle daily accounting tasks, ensure accurate financial records, prepare reports, manage accounts payable and receivable, support the preparation of annual financial statements, and contribute to the ongoing improvement and development of our financial processes.
This role can be performed on a full-time or part-time basis (minimum 20 hours per week).
- Recording daily financial transactions and ensuring accurate documentation
- Preparing financial reports and statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements
- Supporting monthly and annual closing procedures
- Ensuring compliance with local financial regulations and tax laws
- Improving our financial tools and their integration with other systems
Your profile
Qualifications and skills
- A university degree or a recognized qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field (e.g. IHK certification)
- At least 2 years of experience in accounting or a related finance role
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- A structured, efficient, detail-oriented, and self-driven working style
- Fluency in German (minimum C1) and solid English skills (minimum B2)
