Hamburg, November 06, 2025. Hamburg-based software company Cybus presents CybusMQ, a specialized MQTT broker for industrial applications – secure, scalable and ready for production-critical requirements. CybusMQ specifically addresses the needs of growing manufacturing companies looking for a European, sovereign and easily integrable solution for reliable data exchange in their production. The new MQTT broker offers the ideal entry point into industrial data architecture and will be available as a standalone product from January 2026.
CybusMQ has always been the messaging and communication core within Cybus Connectware, which is used productively by leading industrial companies such as Liebherr, Krone and Porsche. By offering it as a standalone solution, Cybus is now making this industrially proven core available to companies that want to modernize or scale their messaging architecture.
CybusMQ was developed for use in production-critical environments where zero data loss, redundancy, cluster operation and rolling upgrades are crucial. The broker is fully compatible with MQTT standards 3.1.1 and 5.0. The broker ensures a stable and uninterrupted flow of information between machines, plants and IT systems – whether locally, in the cloud or in hybrid environments. Developed specifically for manufacturing, CybusMQ meets the highest security and quality standards. The software company Cybus is certified as a developer according to TISAX and ISO 27001, thus ensuring the highest requirements for data security and availability.
With its architecture, CybusMQ is particularly suitable for companies that either operate their own integration layer or opt for a modular structure for their data architecture. The result: A robust messaging infrastructure that ensures a continuous flow of data in production and gives companies long-term sovereignty over their data.
Peter Sorowka, CEO Cybus
CybusMQ provides companies with a scalable entry point into digital transformation. As requirements grow, for example, due to increasing IT/OT convergence or data modeling, CybusMQ can be expanded to Cybus Connectware, the factory data hub from Cybus, without any system disruption.
“We give companies the freedom to start small and think big – without technical debt or sunk costs. CybusMQ is where the journey toward a full-scale data infrastructure begins,” says Peter Sorowka, CEO of Cybus.
Interested companies can now register for the Early Preview Program and evaluate the solution in their environment. Sign up for the early access to CybusMQ here.
