Hamburg, April 13, 2026 – Under the theme “Stop integrating, start operating. From shop floor to Industrial AI,” Cybus is presenting practical solutions for connected production at the Hannover Messe. At its booth in Hall 15, Booth G52, the company will present two key showcases: the “Connected Worker” business case in collaboration with TeamViewer, and “Connectware AI” as a demonstration of the data infrastructure for AI-powered factory applications. Additional showcases can be experienced at partner booths.
The first pillar of the exhibition is the “Zero-Error Assembly Line” as part of the “Meet the Connected Worker” showcase. In collaboration with TeamViewer, Cybus is presenting a live demonstration in which AR-assisted worker guidance, smart assembly tools, and real-time industrial data work together to prevent assembly errors during the process. Visitors will see how AR glasses provide step-by-step instructions, a smart screwdriver delivers torque and angle values in real time, and Cybus Connectware consolidates the resulting data streams. Cybus Connectware acts as the data backbone: It aggregates and orchestrates real-time data from MES, tools, sensors, and AR applications, making it usable for analytics and AI applications while ensuring data sovereignty and offline capability. The showcase demonstrates the immediate benefits: less scrap, reduced training requirements, and seamless traceability with full data sovereignty and offline capability.
The second showcase, “Connectware AI,” demonstrates how a robust data foundation enables AI applications and analytics in production. Cybus Connectware connects machines and IT systems within a unified namespace and creates scalable data flows. Visitors will experience, among other things, real-time condition and energy monitoring—and see how interconnected data leads to measurable gains in efficiency and productivity.
At the same time, a “Micro Factory” will be on display at the Schwarz Digits booth (Hall 14, Booth J18): an AI-powered automation cell developed in collaboration with SCHUNK and STACKIT, with support from Next Level Mittelstand. The cell replicates a complete production step: components are supplied via a palletizing module, handled by the robot using a gripper, and then precisely marked by laser. A visualization demonstrates how multiple modular automation cells can be integrated into a networked “Smart Micro Factory.” The open system can be seamlessly integrated into additional automation cells or third-party systems (e.g., MES, analytics), making sophisticated, rapidly scalable smart factory scenarios a practical reality for small and medium-sized enterprises.
At the Capgemini booth, Cybus, together with its partners, is presenting a demonstrator for the automated assembly of a Mars rover drive. The showcase shows a fully orchestrated manufacturing process—from the robot-assisted assembly of an electric motor to its final integration into a wheel unit. Sensors, camera systems, and control components continuously capture process and quality data. With Connectware, Cybus provides the central data backbone: All relevant data streams are integrated, contextualized, and orchestrated in real time between systems—from production control to evaluation and back to correct parameters. In this way, Cybus enables end-to-end, data-driven production processes and lays the foundation for transparency, efficiency, and faster AI-powered error analysis in industrial manufacturing.
The masterclass will take place on Tuesday, April 21, from 3:30–4:30 p.m. in the Solution Lab (Hall 26, Booth E43, Masterclass Room 1). In his presentation, “The Industrial DevOps Mindset: Beyond ‘Never Touch a Running System,’” Benjamin Gehlken explains how DevOps principles combine stability and innovation speed in production environments, thereby enabling continuous improvements during ongoing operations.
In addition, Cybus invites interested parties to explore its partner ecosystem on-site: Live demonstrations of Connectware and partner solutions provide practical guidance for fast, scalable implementations. On Wednesday, April 22, Cybus invites you to a Gin & Tonic Networking event from 6:00–8:00 p.m.—an opportunity for in-depth discussions with experts and partners. Media representatives and interested parties can request appointments, interviews, and background materials in advance; the Cybus team will provide press contacts.
