What we do

Our IIoT Edge Application Platform collects, unifies and delivers data on-premises: security and independence is our top priority. That’s why our customers control themselves which data they pass on to their own or a third-party software stack. Through predictive maintenance, MES integration or even digital twins and zero downtime, the machine data provided will lead our customers to Industry 4.0 and new business models such as smart services.

About the role

Position and tasks

As Marketing Lead you own the global marketing vision for Cybus and turn our factory data software into a category-defining brand and demand engine.

You’ll blend creativity, data, and AI to create measurable revenue impact while leading and growing a multidisciplinary team in a fast-scaling, VC-backed environment. You will report directly to the VP Commercial and work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to ensure full-funnel alignment and impact.

  • Set and execute a unified marketing strategy across brand, product, demand generation, and customer lifecycle, aligned to pipeline & ARR targets.
  • Lead, coach and inspire a highly motivated, high-performing team of five experts across product marketing, demand generation, performance, design and events.
  • Drive focused market development in the DACH region, with the perspective of expanding into broader European markets in the foreseeable future, support and execute our GTM strategy
  • Partner with the CEO & commercial leadership on full-funnel performance, overseeing martech/RevOps, forecasting, budgeting, and attribution analytics to optimise spend and accelerate revenue growth.
  • Own messaging, thought leadership and market perception, managing PR & press and supporting analyst relations to strengthen Cybus’ position with investors and enterprise clients while running a best-in-class content engine.

Your profile

Qualifications and skills

  • 6+ years of B2B enterprise-software marketing success in technical or industrial domains (MES, ERP, IIoT, etc.).
  • First leadership experience in fast-paced environments such as VC-backed start-ups – ideally combined with strong project and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on leadership style: equally comfortable crafting positioning copy and rolling up sleeves with the team; You are a builder with Startup DNA, strong technical curiosity and comfortable going 0 to 1 as well as challenge the status quo.
  • Data-driven operator with deep expertise in MarketingOps/RevOps, automation (HubSpot or similar), attribution and analytics.
  • Business-fluent German & English; able to represent Cybus with customers, partners, and media.

Bonus points for:

  • Profound knowledge of industrial IoT, manufacturing software, or factory automation landscapes.
  • Recognised personal brand and network within European SaaS / Industry 4.0 communities; acts as Cybus ambassador.
  • Experience applying generative-AI or agentic workflows to accelerate experimentation and scale personalised campaigns
