Cybus at the EMO 2023

EMO 2023 recap

The future of connectivity and sustainability in production

From IT/OT collaboration to cloud/edge and energy management

With more than 1,000 companies from 36 countries, EMO 2023 in Hannover, Germany, once again proved to be a center for innovation in manufacturing and enabled exchanges with industry experts. At the leading trade fair for production technology, Cybus presented helpful best practices on cloud/edge strategies, IT/OT collaborations and energy management initiatives to the mechanical engineering trade audience alongside Connectware.

Since its beginnings as a metalworking trade show, EMO has evolved. In the wake of the digital transformation, topics such as machine networking and company-wide data exchange are coming into focus. It has become clear that there is a growing interest in the mechanical engineering sector in digitizing workflows and processes in order to connect machines and services more efficiently.

Although a number of first-class technologies are already available on the market, the required structural rethinking is a challenge – especially when it comes to networking machines and processes. This includes the need for more cross-team collaboration and breaking down silos. Cybus Connectware is a crucial link here, enabling the integration of machines and complex IT systems. As a Factory Data Hub, Connectware creates an enterprise-wide data infrastructure that makes production data accessible to IT, OT and other stakeholders. In this way, Connectware paves the way to the Smart Factory.

At our booth, visitors, customers and partners could experience the latest version of Cybus Connectware in live demos. During the six days of the trade fair, Cybus demonstrated how machine connectivity and data evaluation between the store floor, ERP and MES works with Connectware.

In discussions with our Industrial IoT specialists, visitors learned about our customers’ successful energy management initiatives and how they were implemented with Connectware. They also explained how a well-designed cloud/edge strategy ensures data control, availability and security.

We thank all visitors for the exciting exchange and the great interest in Cybus Connectware.
