Michael Kühne-Schlinkert, Head of Development, about the NordicAPIs Platform Summit 2016 in Stockholm. Nordic APIs was formed in 2013 to help organizations become more innovative, lean, and efficient with special focus for API practitioner from around the world. Nordic APIs has grown into one of only a few all-API-related event series held anywhere in the world.

I was invited to speak about our test strategy at the NordicAPIs Platform Summit 2016. The conference gathered experts from different industries (tech, manufacturing and finance), who all face the same challenges regarding API’s and and microservice architectures in particular. Therefore, the way how we at Cybus adopted the test-driven development methodology for our microservice architecture, gained a lot of attention.

Besides the great technical discussing my personal highlight was the talk of Jason Harmon, who presented an enlightened and entertaining overview of the newest anti-pattern in API design. Due to the international audience and the high quality speakers we will definitely attend to the next NordicAPIs platform summit 2017.
